This is gen the fic that got me to watch Marble Hornets. I'm one of those people who grew up with creepypasta but didn't know where all the mythology was coming from. The world building is so good, and Nymm does a fantastic job of cutting the cast down to exactly who they need to get the theming about accepting help when you need it across. Top of the line fic, unironic brilliant. Genuinely would bind this into a card back if I knew how.

I don't want to give a shitload of spoilers, but by keeping the characters the ages were in their og stories (or close) it makes a really great dynamic. I read this on a road trip and Could Not Stop laughing. I can't recommend this fix enough. I promise this isn't me filling the text box up Lol I gen love it this much.

Season two is exactly what it sounds like. Vinny wakes up at the start of season one again but keeps his memories, and has to keep everyone from dying with his new knowledge. Does it undermine the original meaning? Oh, definitely. Is it really long and well written? Well, this is emh, that's what you signed up for. Is it exactly what I needed while I was bawling at three men and there dad walking away from a picnic table because one left a camera behind? Oh, definitely.

If you liked emh but found yourself needing some comfort, this whole series is for you.

Encompass was the first fic I ever read on AO3 that wasn't a one shot. I don't know who possessed me to pick it as my first, but I just couldn't put it down. I hid my phone, behind my school book, to read. I don't know what level of nerd that makes me, but it's probably a big one. I'm not as into dsmp anymore, but I still keep up with my favs (but not some others, please support victims of abuse.)

TI've never been in foster care, but I started this recently after getting my autism diagnosis, which I did not take well. I always wanted to be a foster parent and was curious about it, but reading this made me almost desperate to give that space to kids like me when I'm older.
